South Dakota K-12 School Guide to Prevent Suicide Toolkit (GPS-T)
The South Dakota K-12 School Guide to Prevent Suicide Toolkit (GPS-T) is authored by Dr. Scott Poland and Dr. Donna Poland and has four main sections:
Goal 1: Provides many tools for schools to utilize to enhance comprehensive suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention, and postvention programs.
Goal 2: Meets the unique needs of South Dakota Schools
Goal 3: Provides the most up to date information on South Dakota legislative requirements and statistics on youth suicidal behavior.
Goal 4: Promotes collaboration between schools and local state prevention resources.
